However, make sure to use a moisture-resistant plug with the screw. The plug prevents water from seeping into the wall and causing water damage.

If your bathroom is fully tiled, you might be better off leaving the drill and hammer in the toolbox. Damaged tiles pose a risk of moisture damage while also being unsightly and costly to repair (if it's even possible to find the same tiles today). For fully tiled bathrooms, you can instead use a self-adhesive picture hook with water-resistant adhesive. These hooks can generally bear quite a bit of weight, and you avoid the risk of cracking your tiles. A classic option is also to hang a poster or picture on the inside of the bathroom door.
